The website Nostalgia Central (nostalgiacentral.com) was established in 1998 by Englishman David Turner (pictured) as an “online scrapbook” and a recollection of the music, movies, TV and pop culture that he had been obsessed with from an early age.

By 2001, Nostalgia Central had grown to house over 15,000 articles and had become a comprehensive online guide to five decades of pop culture, television, music, movies, fads, fashions, social history, and much more.

Whether you are looking for reference material or simply entertainment, if it’s from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s or 1990s, you will find it there.

On the 25th anniversary of Nostalgia Central in 2023, David launched NC Radio as “nostalgia central for your ears”, complimenting the original website as an aural journey through the Rockin’ Fifties, the Swinging Sixties, the Mirror-balled Seventies, the Day-Glo Eighties, and the Grunge-filled Nineties.

NC Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to the UK, Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Our HQ is in the UK, and all schedule times are Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) – or Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the summer months.
